So this week on Friday, we had service for one of the members of the ward who moved from the other elders’ area into ours. Then on Saturday we did lots of tracting but didn’t have much luck finding people to talk to. As we were heading home there was a truck that sped by and started shouting at us and then it came around again. He threw an egg at us and it hit Elder Cooper. lucky not much got on him. we are hoping next time they will throw some bacon too. Then on Sunday we had ward council and in sacrament meeting Elder Cooper gave a talk about being more committed. Then after church, we went and had a lunch with one of the Samoan families in the ward and it was so good. Anyway I hope that everyone has a great week. Love, Elder Nelson
G,day everyone, This week has been awesome. So at the start of this week we had exchanges and I was with Elder Tiikana again. It has been raining pretty hard lately and we did heaps of tracting in the rain which we loved. The next day our district leader called us and asked if we had visited one of the members in the ward and we hadn't in a while so we stopped by the her parents house where she lives. The mother was super excited to see us and we found out that the father was at a hospital in Perth recovering from a heart surgery and they had been gone for two weeks and this was the only day she would be back in a while. It was a tender mercy.  On Thursday we had our last zone conference with Pres and Sister Fife before they head off on the 30th of June . It was a really great conference. It started off with Sister Fife reading us a children's picture book about pirate Jim and using good manners. Then Pres. Fife told us what he would have talked with us abo...

So this week was awesome. So Tuesday was the last day of the trio and that night we had tried to visit some members but everything fell through and we had no idea what to do so we said a prayer. Then I remembered that one of the members had given us a referral and told us to visit them at 7 at night which is usually a pretty bad time in Australia to drop by someone’s house unexpectedly.   But we went and they invited us in straight away and were able to talk to them. I love prayer.   The next day I got my new companion. His name is Elder Cooper and he is from Brisbane but is Maori (New Zealand). He is awesome. But at transfers they took the car and so now we are on bikes. So this week we have been meeting the members and with George our investigator. He is awesome and we invited him to a baptism and chapel tour this week which should be fun. Also this this week I tried using the buses for the first time in the area and we had some fun. So we walked to the bus s...

So this was a crazy week. So on Friday my companion Elder Liao finished his mission and so the beginning of this week we did a lot of packing and went to the hospital for his final checkups on his broken arm. Then on Friday we dropped him off and he got to crash the Mission President and Sister Fife's date night and go with them to the temple before he took off to China. So now I am with Elder Gardner and Elder Tiikana until I get my new companion who is Elder Cooper. So on Saturday we decided to do our personal study in a park right across from a nonmember we were going to visit that lives 20 minutes away, and right when we start we get a call from her asking if we can come early and so we were able to visit with her right then.    On Monday, we had a public holiday for Western Australia day and that morning we did a service project where we moved heaps of heavy duty building wood into a building. It was so heavy. Then afterwards we visited one of the inv...
