Don't worry MOM. I'm OK. So today is my pday because we get to go to the temple every transfer. I didn't know until after last Monday so I didn't get to tell you. So if I don't email its probably because i am going to the temple so just wait a couple days and then you can worry. So this week has been lots of fun. We have been reteaching a recent convert. He is very interested in learning but he has some problems still. On Friday we had zone conference which was awesome. President Fife is really cool. On Saturday we had exchanges with the zone leaders. I went with Elder Horner and we had the funniest experience. We were tracking and I see a guy with a bucket of water and I'm like "service." So we walk up and he looks at us and says "Mormons". We are like yeah you heard of us. and then he said "false prophets". Elder Horner asked if he was religious and he said no and then elder Horner was like "then aren...

This week has been wild. So on Monday we left the MTC and took a train to the airport. That was fun especially when it broke down but eventually we made it to the airport. At the airport, I met the Gaskills from Colorado. We got on our plane and flew two hours to LA. It was so cool because when we were walking to our gate we met the missionaries heading to Brisbane. Two of them were from our district which was an awesome reunion. The funny thing is that they had been there for like 8 hours waiting and we left before they did.  The plane ride to Australia was long. It’s funny because we got on the plane on Monday and got off on Wednesday. Really it was only 16 hours. I slept most of the way so it wasn’t as bad. We landed in Sydney. At the airport, they were filming for a documentary on customs and airport security, so if you happen to be watching an Australian documentary on airport security, you might see me. After going through customs, we boarded a small plane for P...

First picture: The new haircut. Elder Cox is on the left and Elder Williams on the right Second picture: See Mom and Dad, I do keep my room clean. It's funny because a lot of the other missionaries rooms are so messy the custodians were like "finally a clean room." Hey everyone,  Week 2 from the MTC. This week has gone by so fast and now our district is the oldest in our residence. On Friday, we got our travel plans. There are 10 missionaries going to Perth. We leave Monday at 3:20 pm . The rest of the district is leaving earlier at 3 in the morning.  On Saturday, we had our last TRCs (they practice teaching lessons to "investigators". Some are already LDS but others are not) with our first two investigators. We got both committed to baptism dates. This Sunday was fast Sunday . It was awesome in sacrament meeting because here wasn't any of those awkward gaps where no one is talking. After sacrament, we had a mission conference....

Hey everyone, This has been one crazy week. It feels like it has been forever since I got dropped off at the airport. When Heidi and I got to the airport we met over 35 missionaries. Most of them were coming home from Argentina and Brazil. It was funny because they were freaking out about regular things like free refills and Reese's but at the same time they kept forgetting how to speak English. The flight to Salt Lake was fun. When we got to the airport there were like a billion families waiting to welcome the missionaries. I felt like a celebrity going down the escalator even though none of it was for me. Courtney and Michael (Heidi's friends) picked us up and we had some JWs take a picture of us. We killed some time going to the draper temple and also Courtney's house and then Chick-fil-A. When we got to the MTC, missionaries met us and took our stuff. We went and got our name tags, white handbooks, iPads (for the MTC) and then went to our ...
