Hello and Merry Christmas, This has been and interesting and exciting week. So this past week was the last week of my companion, Elder Taupau's, mission. On Friday we headed up to Perth to drop him off and I got to pick up my new companion, Elder Pryor. He is from Queensland over on the east coast of Australia and he is on his last six weeks of his mission. So now I'll be finishing off two missionaries in a row. Anyway this past week we have done a lot of tracting and visiting members and less actives. On Saturday we went to a carols by candlelight which is where the town gets together and sings songs about Jesus Christ and His birth. It was a lot of fun and helped us get in the Christmas spirit. This week we have spent a lot of time up in Perth on exchanges because of zone conference and pday today. I hope all is well and that everyone has a very merry Christmas. Remember that Jesus Christ is the reason for the season and the greatest gif...
This week has gone by so fast. So right now I am back up in Perth. Usually elders in country are only allowed to come up 2 times a transfer but due to such a crazy transfer this is my 4th time up and we will be coming back up again at the end of this week.  So this past week we had a cottage evening which is kind of like a family home evening for members and nonmembers to get together and play games and share a lesson. We also went down to Katanning and passed out the #LIGHTtheWORLD cards and on Sunday we got to watch the First Presidency Christmas devotional.  So a cool story from tracting, we knock on a guy’s door and when we told him we were LDS he told us that not ten minutes ago he had watched a documentary on Mormons. As a result he was curious about us and we were able to give him a copy of The Book of Mormon. As we seek to do missionary work the Lord will go before us and prepare His children to receive the gospel. Hope everything is going well. I will b...

Two weeks of letters (I forgot to post last week)

11/26/2017 So this week has been pretty crazy. Last Monday as we were visiting people we got a call from President Fife. He told us that there were going to be some emergency transfers and that Elder Richins would be going up to be a zone leader in Dianella. We would be driving up to Perth the next morning to do the switch. After that we went back to the flat so he could pack. The next morning Pres. called again and told us that Elder Richins would be going instead to be a zone leader in north coast where he would be whitewashing the area with another new zone leader and they would be training a golden. Oh boy that’s going to be fun. Since Elder Richins was leaving I was the new driver. We drove up the 2 and a half hours to the mission office and then I got my new companion. He is Elder Taupau and he is a Samoan that was born and raised in Melbourne. He finishes this transfer so I will be staying in Narrogin next transfer and getting a new companion. (YES I love Narrogin) ...
