Crikey mate, this week was awesome. So at the very start of the week as we were riding our push bikes, one of Elder Mejia's pedals fell off.  We kept screwing it back on and it kept falling off. We then discovered that both the screw part and the part it screws into were stripped so we decided to get creative. We tried super glue but that didn't work. So then we tried more super glue, heaps of sticky tape, and about half a dozen cable ties. That went alright until we got got halfway up a hill and everything broke. So now we walk.
One funny thing that happened this week was while we were following up with a potential investigator. We were walking up to the house when all of a sudden we see a 5 or 6 chooks (chickens) appear on the other side of the road. At first were were confused why there were chickens in the neighborhood, then they started walking towards us and hopped up the stairs to the front porch where we were and we were surrounded by them. Then I was even more confused. Turns out that they were owned by the potential and had gotten out. So why did the chicken cross the road? ...  To meet the missionaries.

Also this week we were down in Katanning tracting and we met a lady and were able to give her and her nephew copies of the Book of Mormon to read. At the very end she told us that she was going to not answer the door when she saw us but decided to be nice. it was awesome because we had been praying that God would soften the hearts of those we talked to and He did. Later that day we took the Bennetts with us to teach a lesson to a new investigator we had found a while back.

Then the very best part of this week was General Conference. On Saturday we met at the Bennett's flat and watched the first two sessions plus priesthood session. It was awesome. It was great being able to stand with the rest of the church and sustain our new prophet Pres. Russell M Nelson. I loved the talk by Elder Robbins about not being afraid of failure and when they announced the reorganization of elders quorum. On Sunday, we watched the rest of the conference at the chapel. I loved the talk by pres Nelson about revelation. It was so powerful. I am grateful to be a part of Christ's church and listen to His words through His appointed leaders. I look forward to relistening to the talks over the next 6 months.
I hope everyone has a great week.

Love everyone's favorite Aussie missionary
Elder Nelson.
