This week has been awesome. So on Monday
we drove two hours out to visit wave rock. (yep our area is that big, we only
made it half way across our area) Wave rock which is a big rock that looks like
a wave, was awesome. we hiked around that and then went to a wildlife park and
saw kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats, crazy birds, a camel we named
George, and black swans. We got to pet the koala, a wallaby, and George the
camel. It was awesome. Then to finish it up we hiked up another huge rock. What
a pday.
Also this week we went to Kattaning
and caught up with our two investigators. We taught Tom the plan of salvation. When
we went to visit Darrell he told us he hadn't read the Book of Mormon yet and
asked if we could read it with him. We were like of course. We had an awesome
scripture study with him. Then later this week, we helped a member move and we
did some service in the community garden.
Sunday was awesome. I got to give a
talk and I talked about the blessings of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Also in church we talked about the #lighttheworld campaign which should
be sweet as.
Today we are up in Armadale doing
exchange and for zone pday. Unfortunately, the two elders here had their bikes
stolen the other day. Hopefully the police will find the bike but for now they
have the loaner bikes.
So fun story, my companion, Elder
Richins, sleep walks so one night at midnight I woke up and he was standing on
my bed messing with the window. I asked him what he was doing and he woke up
and ran to the bathroom. I probably should have been more worried but I was
super tired so I went back to sleep.
Anyway I hope you guys have a good
day and always remember to be an example of the believer. Just this week we
were at lunch and we were talking to a woman. When we got our food we blessed
it and when she got her food she decided she should probably bless hers too. After,
she told us she hadn't done that in a while. As we live righteously others will
notice.
Love Elder Nelson
