This week was so awesome because we had exchanges, zone conference and general conference. So last p-day we went to a nature reserve to hike around. We met a group of older couples that were going on a tour and looking at all the flowers in the park. The guide asked if we wanted to come along so we were like sure. So we hike around and stop every few meters to look at really tiny flowers. It turns out the group is from new York which was exciting. We tried to talk to them more but they were more interested in the super tiny flowers. The entire time i was worried that i would step on a super rare Australian plant and get attacked by some old lady with a pair of binoculars. Just kidding. 

Anyway on Tuesday we drove down to Katanning which is about an hour south of Narrogin. We visited some members and some potentials and then we did some tracting. So we were driving around looking for a place to tract and we passed a street and i felt like we needed to tract it. We start tracting and we run into a member we didn't have on the records and got to talk to her and her nonmember partner. She didn't know that there were other members in the area and she asked for a book of Mormon so hopefully we will be able to get her back to church and start teaching her family. Also while tracting we met a woman who was reading the Book of Mormon and another man who had been talking to the missionaries before he moved. It was so cool. #miracles We also got to have a lesson with 2 sisters, one of them is preparing for a mission and the other is turning her life around to prepare for the temple. It is always so awesome to see how the gospel blesses the lives of all those who strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ. 

On Wednesday we had branch council which is most of the active members. On Thursday we traveled to Armadale to do exchanges with the Kelmscott elders. It was weird being back in my old area. As a district we did a blitz and did some street contacting outside the mall and train station. On Friday we had zone conference so we drove down to Rockingham. So to start off zone conference, President Fife. Climbs and stands on wall thing that surrounds the stand/pulpit and picks up an old fashion sickle and starts swinging.(D&C 4) Oh boy. President is awesome. He talked a lot about how we need to be spending more time finding people to share the gospel with. After zone conference we headed back to Narrogin that night. 

On Saturday we watched general conference at the senior couples house with the branch president and some members from the branch. Then on Sunday we watched it at the church. We still haven't watched priesthood yet so don't spoil it. Conference was awesome. I love hearing the words of prophets and apostles and it is always so relevant to my life. I loved how many of the apostles talked about Pres. Monson's invitation to read the book of Mormon each day. There is a power that comes from the Book of Mormon. I know it is the word of God and we can come to know Jesus Christ better as we read it.
