Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This week was awesome. So on Christmas we had p-day and we got to hangout with the members and one of our investigators who fed us. We also got to ponder over the Savior and what He has done for us and the gift that we can give Him. This is also a great time as the new year begins to become more committed to following the Savior and becoming a little better.
Anyway, the day after Christmas was boxing day which is pretty much like black Friday and a public holiday. But here in Narrogin everything was shutdown and the streets were empty so we weren't able to do much. This week we were able to do a lot of service like building fences, cleaning out bunny cages and gardening. 
On Sunday, we got to church and they told us that one of us missionaries was speaking. We hadn't heard anything about this so I got up and with about 5 minutes of prep I gave a 15 minute talk about baptism. Man I am so glad for the spirit because I had no idea what iI was going to say but I think it turned out well.
New year's eve was pretty normal except we had to be back in our flat by sun down. Then we got to ring in the new year by waking up at 6:30 after a good night sleep.

 This has been a really good week. Last week when we had our zone conference with Elder Ardern of the seventy he challenged us to reach the goal of every companionship finding 2 new people to teach in the next week. That meant we were shooting for 106 new people as a mission. Recently in the mission we had been struggling to find people to teach. In the past 2 weeks we had only found 40ish people. So we had to exercise a lot of faith and work hard to reach our goal. In the end we found 161 new people to teach. I thought it was so cool to feel the urgency and desire to find as many people as we can to teach the gospel to. It reminds me of a quote from preach my gospel about setting goals....  "I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don’t set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. ...

This week was so awesome because we had exchanges, zone conference and general conference. So last p-day we went to a nature reserve to hike around. We met a group of older couples that were going on a tour and looking at all the flowers in the park. The guide asked if we wanted to come along so we were like sure. So we hike around and stop every few meters to look at really tiny flowers. It turns out the group is from new York which was exciting. We tried to talk to them more but they were more interested in the super tiny flowers. The entire time i was worried that i would step on a super rare Australian plant and get attacked by some old lady with a pair of binoculars. Wednesday, I got transferred down to Narrogin. The elders from Narrogin drove up that morning and then Elder Richins and I drove down to the mission office in Perth. I had to get my working with children card because we are both in the young men’s presidency. After that we drove for two hours down to Narrogin. Our new flat is really nice but it looks super bad from the outside. It is three floors and it is over a restaurant on Main Street. The only way to get in is from the back alley.  Anyway, Narrogin is a really small town and our area is huge. There are lots of farmland and sheep in the area. They have a branch here and they might make a new dependent branch down in Kattaning which is like an hour and a half from here. My companion, Elder Richins, is from Henefer Utah which is a small town northeast of Salt Lake.
