This week we did a lot of service. Our branch is having its 40th anniversary this week so we had a branch activity to clean up the chapel. So we got to weed, dig holes, and spread wood chips inside the garden. One thing i love about being out here in the country is that everyone has really nice gardens and so we are always going and pulling weeds around the town. One morning we went and pulled weeds in the rain here in Narrogin and on Friday we went down to Katanning and pulled out a bunch of plants. Sometimes if we are lucky the people we do service for have fruit trees and we get to have fruit right off the trees. I tried figs for the first time and the real fresh fruit is so much better than fig newtons.
Also this week we were able to start the quit smoking program with one of our investigators. One of my favorite parts of beings a missionary is teaching others the restored gospel truths and seeing a change happen in their life. Each of us has a great opportunity to be a positive influence on those around us.
I hope everyone has a great week.

Love
Elder Nelson
