So this week has been crazy. On Wednesday we drove up to Perth for
transfers. It was hard leaving the Narrogin area and I will miss the
branch and people there. At transfers I got my new companion Elder Liao
who is from China. He has been out for a while and his English is great.
Last transfer he broke his wrist and elbow pretty bad after a bike
accident so we are not able to bike and I am still driving. Our area is
in Butler ward and in our district is one of my old companions Elder
Richins from Narrogin. After transfers we had to head to the doctors so
Elder Liao could get some xrays. Also on Wednesday was Anzac day which
is when they remember those that served in the military here.
The
next day we had to head to the doctors again for more appointments. then
on Friday we had district meeting and it was nice not having to Skype
in. On Sunday we had ward council in the morning and then during
sacrament meeting they had me introduce myself and bear my testimony.
There were so many people in the ward and lots of young families. I
heard that there are like 14 women who are pregnant in the ward. Also at
church because of Anzac day we had a moment of silence and then sang
the Australian national anthem which was fun. After church we went and
had a baptismal interview with a ten year old girl. Her baptism will be
this Saturday and we are excited for it. Well I hope everyone has a
great week and I cant wait to let you know all the crazy stuff we will
do this week?
