On Monday we had our zone P-Day so all of the missionaries
came to a big park in our area and we had a sausage sizzle. They put together a
scavenger hunt and after we tossed the rugby ball around. Then later that
evening we had a lesson with the part member family we are working with. We
talked about the Spirit and how it is through the Spirit as we do things like
pray and read the scriptures that we gain a testimony. They are progressing
really well and it is awesome to see the changes.
On Wednesday we had a couple lessons with members and being
able to work with them to do missionary work. One of the families has been
bringing a boy to church that is friends with one of the boys. They set up for
us to go by and start teaching him and his family which was awesome. We were
able to teach him the restoration and invited him to be baptized and he is
keen. So we look forward to that happening soon. Member Missionary miracles.
Then this Saturday we had a service doing some weeding and
mowing grass.
Sunday was a long day with ward council before church and missionary
coordination meeting after. During sacrament meeting the stake patriarch spoke
about the importance of patriarchal blessing which was cool.
On Monday there was a public holiday for the queen’s
birthday so our P-Day was pushed to today.
I definitely know that the Lord is in this work and it is
always exciting to go see the small little miracles that happen. I hope
everyone has an awesome week.
Love
Elder Nelson
