So this past Monday was really awesome. For P-Day all of the elders in the zone came together and played grid iron and touch rugby and while we were playing it started raining really hard. It was really fun. Then later that night we had a lesson with bishop and his family. They are from the UK and after the lesson they gave us kit Kats from the UK which are way different from the American and Aussie ones. (It is funny because we are emailing at Maccas (McDonald's) and a lady just came up to us and was like why aren't you guys in school because we look really young.😂
Then on Wednesday was transfers. Elder alamoni is still with me which of course he is excited about.😁i also had a huge miracle that day. So when I left narrogin the only thing I forgot is my rain jacket and since narrogin is 3+ hours away it is super hard to get anything from there. So i have been able to manage without one while i have been here. But through some careful planning and with the help of my comp in narrogin they were able to get it to some elders at transfers who got it to me. Then that day it rained heaps like more than it has this whole winter. So it was definitely a blessing that I had my rain jacket.
Then also this week we did some gardening for a returning member in the ward. And then had a couple of feeds with other returning members this week.
My comp has the worst luck too. So after one of the dinner appointments with a returning member we got back to our bikes which were locked up and elder Alamoni front and back wheels were gone. This is the third time someone has pinched some part of his bike. So hopefully we get him some new wheels soon.
Anyway on Sunday was fathers day. At church we had a part member family that we are working with come so it was awesome to see them. In 3rd hour we got to teach some of the youth that are preparing to serve missions in mission prep. After church we were asked by the bishop to give the sacrament to one of the older ladies in the ward who couldn't make it to church. It is always special being able to bring the sacrament to someone and reminds me of how blessed we are to each week be able to renew renew our baptismal covenants and remember our savior Jesus Christ and His atonement through the sacrament. Later that evening we had dinner with bishop.
I hope everyone has a great week.
Love
Elder Nelson
