We had a really great week. On Monday we visited with one of the counselors in the bishopric and his family. He asked for a book of Mormon to give to his boss who came with him to a session of general conference.
Then throughout this past week we have been doing heaps of finding and knocking on doors. We met a couple Filipinos and Africans that were pretty keen.
Then this week we met with a member who the bishop asked us to visit. She has been going through a lot of hard trials this past couple months. But it was awesome to meet with her and see how when people start keeping the commandments God blesses them with greater peace, joy, and comfort in the midst of their trials. It strengthened my testimony of the blessings that come from obedience and trusting in God.
On Friday we did more tracting and met a couple  nonmembers who had relative that were missionaries. So that was a small miracle since most of the people here don't know too much about the church. Then later in the day we got a heap of bread from a member who goes to a bakery and gets all the left over bread at the end of the day.
On Saturday we had a multi stake service activity at New Norcia cleaning up the area around an old Catholic monastery. New Norcia is an hour and a half inland from our area so we got a lift from one of the members going from our ward. The drive out was awesome because it reminded me of when I has out in the wheat fields in Narrogin. At the service we got to pull weeds and got rid of cobwebs. It was heaps of fun. So out in the country there are heaps of flies that swarm you and while doing the service I might have swallowed one or two. Anyway, after the service we had two baptisms. The first was in the other ward for a teenage girl whose mom and sister had been baptized a couple weeks ago.  Then afterwards there was a baptism for one of the 8 year olds in the ward. They asked me to give a talk on faith and repentance and I think it went alright.
Then on Sunday during sacrament meeting, all the priesthood holders got up to sing Ye Elders of Israel. Then during second hour the teacher was missing in gospel doctrine so they assigned my companion and me to teach the class. So were able to discuss missionary work for a little bit before the teacher came back and took over the lesson.
I hope everyone has a great week.

Elder Nelson
